SCALE-UP was an EU-funded Innovation Action, focused on 3 European urban nodes (Madrid, Antwerp, Turku), that started in June 2021 and finished in May 2025. The project explored options to render better-connected and climate-resilient cities, while further developing complex multi-modal transport systems.

…our three unique urban nodes! Each of the SCALE-UP cities lay on a different European TEN-T corridor. Their variation in climate, culture, size, population density and geography allowed the Project to develop airtight mobility measures with a high potential for replicability across the continent.
